Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿

In today’s message, we turn to Psalm 13, a raw and honest prayer from David that teaches us how to wait on God when life hurts.

“How long, O Lord?”
It’s a question many of us have asked in seasons of silence, sorrow, or struggle. Psalm 13 shows us that lament is not a lack of faith — it is faith crying out in pain.

In this service, we explore three movements of biblical lament:

  • The Cry of Desperation — bringing our honest pain to God instead of burying it

  • The Plea for Intervention — asking God to act before we break

  • The Song of Confidence — choosing trust and praise even before circumstances change

David moves from “How long?” to “But I trust.” His situation doesn’t immediately shift — but his posture does. Faith doesn’t silence pain; faith answers pain.

If you’re walking through a difficult season, this message is a reminder that you can be honest with God. You can wrestle. You can plead. And you can still trust.

Let your “But I trust” interrupt your “How long.”
Remember His past faithfulness.
And worship your way forward.
