Welcome to our Mother’s Day Worship Service at The Vine! 🌿

This Sunday, we celebrated and honored the many women represented in our church family — mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, those rejoicing, those grieving, those still waiting, and those faithfully praying through difficult seasons. We also enjoyed a special video message from our kids, reminding us of the love, encouragement, and impact mothers and women have in our lives.

Our message came from Matthew 15:21–28, where we encounter a mother whose desperate situation led her to Jesus with bold and persistent faith. Despite obstacles, silence, and discouragement, she refused to walk away.

At the center of this passage is a powerful truth:
Real faith refuses to quit until it reaches Jesus.

In this message, we reflect on:

  • A desperate mother who ran to Jesus in faith

  • How silence and waiting can deepen persistent trust

  • The humility and perseverance that mark genuine faith

  • The mercy of Jesus toward those who continue seeking Him

This story reminds us never to underestimate what God can do through one praying mother—or through anyone who continues trusting Jesus when the answer doesn’t come immediately.

Whether today was joyful, difficult, hopeful, or heavy for you, our prayer is that this service points you to the compassion, mercy, and faithfulness of Christ.
