Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿
In today’s message from John 14:15–19, Jesus prepares His disciples for His departure with an incredible promise: they will not be left alone. He will send the Holy Spirit to be with them forever.
At the heart of this passage is this truth:
Jesus doesn’t leave His followers alone; He gives us the Holy Spirit, our Advocate, who stays with us, lives within us, and makes the presence of Jesus real to us.
In this message, we explore:
• The Holy Spirit is our Advocate who comes alongside us.
• The Holy Spirit doesn’t just help us—He lives with us and in us.
• The Holy Spirit makes the presence of Jesus real to us.
Jesus told His disciples, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” Through the Holy Spirit, we have the presence and help of God with us in every part of life.
We are not left to follow Jesus in our own strength. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives within His people, giving us His presence and His life.
May this message encourage you to recognize the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life and remember that wherever you go and whatever you face, you do not face it alone.
