John 14:7–14 — Know Him. Follow Him. Join Him.

In today’s message from John 14:7–14, Jesus continues His conversation with the disciples and reveals what it means to truly know God, be used by Him, and participate in the work He is doing.
At the heart of this passage is this truth:
Jesus reveals the Father perfectly, empowers His followers personally, and invites us to pray confidently so that His work can continue through us.
Jesus tells Philip, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.” If we want to know what God is like, we look to Jesus. But Jesus doesn’t stop there. He tells His followers that God intends to continue His work through them.
In this message, we explore:
Jesus shows us exactly what the Father is like.
Jesus doesn’t just save us—He works through us.
Jesus invites us to pray with His purpose, not just our wants.
Prayer isn’t simply about asking Jesus to work for us. It’s an invitation to ask Jesus to work through us as we recognize where God is already at work and join Him there.
If you want to know God, look at Jesus.
If you want to be used by God, surrender to Jesus.
If you want to participate in God’s work, pray to Jesus.
May this message encourage you to know Jesus more deeply, surrender to His work in your life, and pray with confidence as He works through you.
