Happy Father's Day! Today we celebrate and honor fathers, grandfathers, spiritual fathers, and the many men who faithfully invest in the lives of others. Thank you for your love, sacrifice, guidance, and example.
In this week's sermon, we reflect on Jesus' powerful closing invitation in John 12:44–50.
At the heart of this passage is a simple but life-changing truth:
Jesus came into the world so that we might step out of darkness and walk in the light of life.
As Jesus concludes His public ministry in John's Gospel, He makes one final appeal to those listening. His words remind us that to receive Jesus is to receive the Father who sent Him. He did not come to condemn the world, but to save it. Yet His invitation demands a response.
In this message, we explore:
• Why believing in Jesus means trusting the God who sent Him
• How Jesus brings people out of spiritual darkness and into light
• The difference between Christ's first coming to save and His future role as judge
• Why the words of Jesus lead to eternal life
• The importance of choosing whose voice will shape our lives
This passage invites us to ask some important questions:
Whose voice are you trusting most right now?
Whose words shape your decisions?
Whose truth defines your reality?
May this message encourage you to trust Christ more deeply, walk in His light, and find the life that only He can give.
