Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿
On this Pentecost Sunday, we reflected on the beauty and power of the early church through Acts 2:42–47. After the coming of the Holy Spirit, the believers didn’t simply gather occasionally—they devoted themselves fully to a new way of life centered around Jesus and shaped by genuine community.
This passage gives us a picture of what the church was meant to be:
Devoted to the teaching of God’s Word
Committed to fellowship and life together
Regularly breaking bread together
Grounded in prayer
We also see a community marked by generosity, unity, worship, and awe at what God was doing among them. Their faith wasn’t isolated or casual—it shaped the way they lived, cared for one another, and gathered together daily.
As we celebrated Pentecost, this message challenged us to ask:
What are we truly devoted to?
And does our church life reflect the heart of the early church?
May this service encourage us to pursue authentic community, deeper devotion, and lives shaped by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
