Welcome to this week’s worship service!

In today’s message, we continue our journey through the Gospel of John as Jesus speaks a powerful truth about what it means to truly follow Him:

“If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31–32)

This conversation unfolds in the Temple as Jesus confronts a crowd confident in their own heritage yet blind to their spiritual bondage. He exposes the reality of sin’s grip and offers freedom that only He—the Son—can provide.

📖 In John 8:31–36, we learn:

  • True discipleship means holding fast to Jesus’ teaching

  • Knowing the truth leads to genuine freedom

  • Sin enslaves those who surrender to it

  • Only the Son has the authority to set us free—free indeed

This message invites us to face the truth about sin, embrace the freedom found in Christ, and walk as sons and daughters in the household of God.
