Welcome to this week’s worship service!

In today’s message, we continue our journey through the Gospel of John as Jesus declares one of His most profound statements:

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)

This moment takes place in the Temple during the Feast of Tabernacles — as massive golden lampstands illuminate the night, Jesus boldly proclaims that He is the true Light who reveals truth, exposes darkness, and leads to life.

📖 In John 8:12–20, we learn:

  • Jesus is the Light who reveals the presence and power of God

  • His authority comes from perfect unity with the Father

  • The Pharisees’ rejection shows the danger of judging by human standards

  • Our response to the Light determines whether we walk in truth or remain blind in darkness

This message invites us to step out of the shadows of confusion, pride, and sin — and walk in the life-giving light of Christ.
