Welcome to this week’s worship service!
This Sunday was a special Back-to-School Sunday at our church! We prayed over our school-aged kids and even had them join the worship team for one of the songs — celebrating a new school year with joy, blessing, and community.
We also shared in Communion, remembering the sacrifice of Jesus and proclaiming His death until He comes again.
In today’s message from John 6:22–29, we pick up right after Jesus has fed the 5,000 and walked on water. The crowd is searching for Him, but Jesus challenges their motives: Are they seeking Him for who He is, or just for what He can give?
📖 In this passage, Jesus teaches:
Not to work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life
That the work God requires is simple yet profound: to believe in the One He has sent
That true satisfaction is found not in bread, possessions, or earthly rewards — but in Christ Himself
This message invites us to reexamine what we’re pursuing in life, and to fix our eyes on the only One who can truly satisfy.
