Welcome to this week’s worship service!

In today’s message, we explore how Jesus lays out a bold and compelling case for His identity as the Son of God. Speaking directly to His critics in John 5:31–47, Jesus presents a series of powerful witnesses — each one confirming that He is the One sent by the Father to give life.

📖 In this passage, Jesus calls on:

  1. John the Baptist – the prophet who testified to the Light

  2. His works and miracles – signs that confirm His mission

  3. The voice of the Father – a divine testimony

  4. The Scriptures themselves – from Moses to the Prophets, all pointing to Him

But the tragedy in this moment is that His listeners — though devoted to Scripture — missed the very One the Scriptures pointed to.

🔍 This message challenges us to:

  • Examine whether we’re seeking truth or just religious status

  • Recognize the many ways God confirms who Jesus truly is

  • Respond not with resistance, but with faith and love for the One who offers eternal life
